Who we are
The Growth Rooms is an online training platform for coaches, operated by [Operator legal entity, e.g. company name and number] ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at [contact email] or by post at [registered address].
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address and a password. Passwords are stored hashed; we never see them.
- Purchase records. When you buy a room we keep a record of what you bought, when, and how much you paid. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Learning activity. Which lessons you have opened and marked complete, so your progress works.
- Messages. Anything you send us by email or through the platform.
How we use it
- To provide the platform you paid for: your account, your rooms and your progress (performance of a contract).
- To take payment and keep the records tax law requires us to keep (legal obligation).
- To keep the platform secure and to fix problems (legitimate interests).
- To reply when you contact us (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on the platform.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the platform. They process data on our instructions only:
- Supabase — database and login accounts
- Stripe — payment processing
- Cloudflare — video hosting and delivery
- Vercel — website hosting
Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it, except purchase records, which we keep for six years because tax law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email [contact email] and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only: the ones that keep you logged in and remember your session. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this site.

The Growth Rooms is for adults building a coaching business. You must be 18 or over to create an account.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant we will email you.
